Serious Games Initiative

Play Games for Fun, Work, and Wellness. We believe interactive media and game technology can solve real-world problems, train the next generation, and create meaningful careers for those who have served.

What Are Serious Games?

Serious games use game design, mechanics, and technology for purposes beyond pure entertainment. From military training simulations to therapeutic wellness applications, architecture visualization to workforce development — games are a powerful tool for education, engagement, and impact. The Argento Society's Serious Games Initiative brings together veterans, developers, and industry partners to build experiences that matter.

Training & Simulations

Interactive training simulations for military, healthcare, manufacturing, and corporate environments. Game-based training improves retention, engagement, and real-world performance. We draw on direct military experience to build simulations that reflect actual operational needs.

Entertainment & Gaming

From indie titles to large-scale multiplayer experiences like Project Argento, we develop games that entertain, educate, and inspire. Our entertainment projects blend engaging gameplay with meaningful narratives, community building, and social impact.

Wellness & Therapeutic Games

Games designed to support mental health, stress management, and wellness. The Struggle Zoo companion characters were born from the belief that interactive experiences can help people face their struggles — because the struggle is real, but no one fights alone.

Product Visualization

Bring your products to life with interactive 3D visualizations. Let customers explore, rotate, and customize products in real time before they buy — increasing engagement and reducing returns. Powered by the same engine technology behind our games.

Architecture & Virtual Tours

Walk through buildings before they are built. Create immersive, photorealistic experiences for real estate, hospitality, education, and tourism. Interactive walkthroughs with narration, information overlays, and full user control.

Interior Design & Furniture

Empower designers and homeowners to visualize furniture, layouts, and decor in realistic 3D environments. Experiment with styles, colors, and arrangements before committing to a purchase — the same tech that powers our in-game housing system.

Combined Joint Task Force Viper

JTF-Viper is an ongoing initiative coordinating organized gaming presence with MilitaryGamers.com and the Silver Sun Republic community. The effort establishes common Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) across multiple game titles, bringing military discipline and camaraderie into online gaming.

JTF-Viper has been utilized across titles including Star Citizen, ARMA 3, and more. The structure provides veterans and active-duty service members a way to stay connected through shared gaming experiences while applying real-world teamwork and leadership skills.

As Project Argento develops, JTF-Viper will serve as the organizational backbone for coordinated military gaming communities within the Argentoverse — bridging the gap between service members, veterans, and civilian gamers who share a commitment to teamwork and excellence.

JTF-Viper Principles
Common TTPs

Standardized tactics, techniques, and procedures across all game titles for cohesive unit operations.

Cross-Game Coordination

One community, many games. Members maintain rank structure and unit cohesion regardless of platform.

Leadership Development

Gaming guilds as leadership labs — developing communication, strategy, and team management skills.

Veteran Connection

Keeping service members and veterans connected through shared gaming experiences and community.

Veteran Placement in Tech & Video Game Industries

Military veterans bring discipline, leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork that the tech and gaming industries desperately need. The Argento Society is committed to building pathways that connect transitioning service members with meaningful careers in game development, software engineering, and interactive media.

Software Engineering

Backend systems, cloud infrastructure, DevOps — skills that map directly from military communications and IT specialties to civilian tech careers.

Game Development

Level design, gameplay programming, QA testing, and production management. Veterans understand mission planning — game development is no different.

3D Art & Design

Environment art, character modeling, UI/UX design, and technical art. Creative skills developed through military training translate to digital art pipelines.

Project Management

Veterans are natural project managers. Military leadership, logistics, and operations experience is directly applicable to agile development teams.

Our Commitment

The Argento Society actively works to connect US military veterans with opportunities in tech and video game studios. Whether you are transitioning out of service or looking for your next career move, we provide mentorship, networking, and direct placement support. The same people who defended our freedom deserve a seat at the table building the future of interactive entertainment.
